A pastor in the United States named Creflo Dollar has debunked the notion that skipping the payment of tithe will ruin one’s life.
The well-known evangelist, who has long drummed the importance of tithing and has been collecting tithes from his church members for over a decade seems to be taking a different tack.
Whilst delivering a sermon at a church service, Creflo Dollar instructed his congregation to burn every book and video he had ever authored or preached on tithing since it is not biblical while sharing with them that he was still growing in the Christian faith as a servant of the Lord and a preacher of the Gospel.
“The teachings that I have shared in the time past on the subject of tithing were not correct and today I stand in humility to correct some things that I have taught for years and believed for years but could never understand clearly because I have not yet been confronted with the gospel of grace which has made the difference.

You would also recall that John Dumelo inquired if there is actually a connection between religion and the development of the country since it appears that Ghanaians would opt to pray for the betterment of the country rather than making physical efforts to get things done as quickly as possible.
He wrote; Is there a link btn religion & development?Do Ghanaians spend more time praying for Ghana to be better than actually making the physical effort to make things better? We are converting factories to churches and paying more tithes than taxes. Is that the right approach?
